When the Hotel Estelou decided to furnish its lobby, garden and pool, it quite naturally turned to the RBC company present in Nîmes, Montpellier, and Gallargues-le-Montueux, close to Sommieres.

RBC, long-standing player in the field of contemporary furniture distribution, present in the South of France, defends design since its first showroom opened in Nîmes, in 1987.

In September 2010, RBC continued its expansion and opened its doors in Lyon, in the beautiful setting of the Cube Orange on quai Rambaud – Confluence neighbourhood -, designed by the Jakob Macfarlane agency, which also took care of the interior design so as to ensure a global coherence. The showroom exhibits new works from the biggest designers, such as P. Starck, C. & R. Eames, J.M. Massaud, J. Nouvel, P. Lissoni...

Lastly, the year 2012 was marked by the opening of the RBC Design Center in Montpellier: lamps, items, office furniture, home, a restaurant, a book shop… An essential meeting place in the South of France for all aficionados of designer art of living.

The RBC Design Center was designed by Jean Nouvel and is located across from the new city hall in the Port Marianne neighbourhood.
