HOTEL'S
DECORATION
In order to create a unique atmosphere, suited to holidays and a change of scene, the unusual hotel Estelou adopted an interior design of a boutique hotel that boldly mixes railway inspired pieces with contemporary and ethnic ones…
The old station’s hall, transformed into a comfortable and welcoming reception area:
The hotel Estelou’s reception was very naturally set up in the station’s old waiting room. It’s a bright and welcome space, with many small seating areas where everyone can relax or read in a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The “railway chic” interior design pays tribute to the building’s past and mixes industrial-inspired furniture with ethnic pieces.
Evocation of travel for the corridors leading to the rooms:
To get to your room, you’ll walk through a corridor that’s an invitation to travel? The photos printed on canvas, specially made for the hotel, will remind you of the vast open spaces the railway tracks run through. The building’s origin is subtly present.
The old station’s canopy has been transformed into a spacious and bright conservatory. It’s the perfect place to have breakfast:
When taking your breakfast in the hotel’s conservatory, you’ll be sitting where the Sommières station’s old platform used to be! Indeed, this entirely glazed space was set up under the station’s old canopy. The metallic structures dates back to 1872. The conservatory is air-conditioned and features a seating area.
